Repair co-lab operates on a hub-and-spoke model, anchored in our permanent Kingsland location. As the central hub, we teach repair and maintenance skills, develop resources, and support our spokes - local pop-up Repair Cafés, schools, and community and business partners. Together, we share expertise to make repair an easy choice across Tāmaki Makaurau.
Auckland’s Repair Hub is the missing component to activate a new ‘hub and spoke’ model for repair, based close to public transport. Satellite locations include existing Repair Cafés, Community Recycling Centres, and e-waste businesses enabling more social, cultural, and environmental outcomes for Auckland.
Catering for schools and businesses builds capacity to create and deliver consistent, scalable activities and outcomes across the repair network.
